Description
Escape to this stunning architect-designed two-bedroom flat with a huge mature garden, now in bloom. The beautifully designed 9m x 5m kitchen-living room opens directly onto the wonderful 20m garden, with al fresco dining, a tranquil sanctuary for the long spring and summer evenings. Moments from fantastic local restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs, with excellent transport to central London day and night. My home for 12 years (I live here with a dog). I'm afraid this is a no party listing. The space This flat is totally self contained with it's own lockable front door. It shares an entrance door and communal corridor with a second flat in the same building. It's also my home and I love it very much so I'm afraid four guests is the limit and it's a no to parties (note also that I own a dog so please beware if you have allergies). The second bedroom contains brand new kingsized sofa bed (pictured), as well as a trestle table, which I can put up if you'd like to use it as an office. Large bathroom on main floor; second toilet on ground floor. Gorgeous mature 70ft garden with built in fire pit, barbecue, table/ chairs. Utility room with washing machine, drying facilities, boots/ shoes cleaning, second toilet (not pictured). See house manual for full details. Guest access Access entire flat, garden (exclusive access) Other things to note Parking in drive way for £25/ day. This is a green, lively, gastronomically and culturally sophisticated local area that you will love discovering. You are five minutes walk from the award-winning restaurants and bars of Newington Green including Perilla (The Times, 100 best places to eat in the UK, 2018), Primeur, Jolene. Five minutes in the opposite direction is M&S, Sainsburys, Amazon Fresh on Kingsland Road, Dalston, the the famous 100-year old Art Deco Rio Cinema and the celebrated Ridley Road food market, active since the 1880s. On both sides you will find excellent independent cafe and bakeries including Belle Epoque, The Acoustic, Jolene cafe and Bakery, the famous Dusty Knuckles bakery, as well as several local gastro pubs, including The Lady Mildmay and The Alma, as well as traditional boozers such as The Railway Tavern, at the end of the road. You're also walking distance to Islington's famous Upper Street, with incredible selection of restaurants, boutiques, bars, pubs, bookshops and the wonderful Everyman Cinema. I adore the local area, where I have lived for ten years and have many recommendations - just ask!
