Welcome to our 1800's stone farmhouse in the heart of Alta Monferrato wine country! Located in the quaint residential village of San Quirico which is surrounded by rolling hills of vineyards, hazelnut orchards and fairytale castles. It is the perfect home-base to explore by hiking and biking the famous hills of Alta Monferrato. Just a short drive from the ancient Roman Aqueducts of Acqui Terme, beautiful rivers and swimming holes, as well as many Vineyards where you can taste local wines. The space @ilcasaledipietra **SWIMMING POOL CONSTRUCTION FROM FEBRUARY 2022 TO MAY 2022** Situated on an acre of land that was once a vineyard, the 2 story house consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and sunroom, kitchen and game room: 1st Floor: - Master bedroom with 1 king bed - Spare bedroom with 1 queen bed - Spare bedroom with a wall separating 1 king or 2 single beds. - Bathroom with soaking tub Ground Floor: - Kitchen with dining table - Living room with fireplace - Sunroom - Game room - Bathroom with shower Cellar: - Garage (with washer/dryer) - Wine Cellar (not usable space, but can be visited) Enjoy long lunches on the terrace with a meal cooked on the charcoal/wood grill with vegetables from the garden, and then easy walk through the vineyards surrounding the village. Relax in front of the fireplace in the evening with a glass of local wine. The house is equipped with dishes and utensils, pots and pans, towels and sheets. Dogs and children welcome (garden is completely fenced). Guest access The house is fully accessible to the guests. The old cantina with barrels and wine press can be visited but is not a usable space. The garage can be accessed for use of the washer and dryer, and for gardening tools if needed. The cantina and garage are not recommended for unattended kids. Other things to note The house was bought only in January 2020. Many works have been done inside (i.e. refurbishing and painting) and in the garden ( i.e. cleaning of spiky brush and dead trees). We are currently having grass growing in a small section.
