2 bedroomed bijou cottage/small period property in local conservation area of Penkkull. Close to Hospital, Commuter links / Tourist trails. Sleeps 6 people max. Recently restored / modernised. Off road parking for one vehicle (with room for a 2nd car to park on road blocking the other in) Lovely little garden to sit in which opens onto local public fields with a park at the end of the avenue. The property is fully furnished with all the basics you’d need, secured access and broadband. The space The house and its amenities The house has a good sized lounge / dinning room with lots of storage under the stairs, comfy seating including a double sofa bed ad corner sofa, Digital TV and dinning table with chairs to eat at or work from. It also has a well equipped small kitchen on the ground floor with a washer dryer, fridge freezer, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and cafetière. Basic cooking utensils, pots, cutlery and crockery is provided. Located upstairs are two lovely rooms one with a double bed and one twin made up from a single trundle guest bed, rooms overlooking either the garden or playing fields. The bathroom with electric shower above the bath is also located on the first floor. Garden furniture is stored in the cupboard under the stairs for guests use on sunny days along with other house hold essentials but please remember to return these here after use. (Along with Iron and Ironing board, mop, brush and vacuum etc.) Towels and bedding are provided along with a small starter kit of hot drinks to quench your thirst on arrival. On request for an additional fee your host can meet any online supermarket shopping deliveries, and have your goods packed away ready for your arrival to save you time if required. Travel cot and good quality baby equipment may also available to borrow upon request to save extra packing. Other things to note Please note discounts are issued for stays over 1 week and 1 month however there will be a compulsory additional cleaning fee every 2 weeks of the stay for interim cleaning. Guests will have advance notice of cleaners timings. This doesn't include additional linen and towel changes but this is an optional service for an extra £5 per guest however there is a free working washer dryer on site for guests use. Other than that the property must be vacated by 10am at the latest. The cleaners are booked in advance and are usually quite prompt. Late check outs which have not been arranged in advance will result in late check out fees and additional charges for the cleaners time and may incur an addition nights stay. Please be mindful often other guests are checking in after you the same day and the property needs to be cleaned and prepared for their arrival. Loan of travel cots and high chairs / dining booster seats are available at a charge of £10 per item per stay.
