First floor - Bedroom 2 - One double bedroom (Queen size bed) leading onto sun room, Bedroom 3 (ideal for children) with two single beds, daybed and desk; shared family bathroom. Guest access Guest have full access to the space described except for the garage and the owner’s cupboard. There is off street access and ask guests to park their cars at the top of the drive, there is a steep drive down to the cottage but can be tricky to back out of especially when it's wet. Other things to note Host will alert guests to the house rules which have to be adhered to at all times. There is a Wi Fi router at the property and data can be purchased through a portal link, instructions on connecting and getting data are in the house manual. Pringle Bay forms part of the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve, in 1998, it became the first UNESCO-declared Biosphere Reserve in southern Africa. We are very proud of the Milkwood trees, South Africa's most iconic coastal tree and is one of South Africa’s protected tree species. These trees when blooming with delicate flowers can give off unpleasant odour and attract many bird species. There are three white milkwood trees in South Africa that have been declared national monuments. No open fires are allowed to be made anywhere on the property except for in the "braai" barbecue area, Pringle Bay is a high fire risk area and protected as a biosphere. We do not allow the open fire place in the cottage to be used, it smokes too much, there is however a moveable gas heater in the cottage for any chilly nights.
