Located minutes from the beautiful Noordhoek Beach, and nestled beneath Chapman's Peak Mountain, this delightful cottage enjoys spectacular sunsets, mountain views and sea views as far as Kommetjie Point. Walk to the beach, the farm village with restaurants and deli, or to the Red herring trading centre with coffee shop, craft brewery, Italian restaurant and much more. Set in a very private and well established garden with a magical ambiance. The space Fully equipped kitchen with hob/oven, microwave, fridge, washing machine and dish washer. Comfortable open plan indoor dining and living area with a Smart TV. Light and airy double master bedroom with sea view and en-suite plus two comfortable twin rooms with additional bathroom. Plenty of built-in storage available for longer stays. French doors lead onto a covered outdoor terrace with comfortable dining for 6 and a large gas-fired barbeque. This continues onto a 12 meter deck with sea and mountain views and relaxed and elegant seating for up to 8. Subtle downlighters in the outdoor dining and lounge areas provide for long lazy evenings well after the sun has gone down. Enjoy the sparkling 14 meter salt-chlorinated swimming pool, distant sea and mountain views and the sheltered and private setting. Large and secluded terraced gardens including mature trees and shrubs, multiple lawn areas and indigenous plants. There are plenty of recliners on which to relax and soak up the sun. Peace found! The cottage is situated on the same property as the main house but the owners do not occupy the main house while guests are in residence, so the entire grounds and facilities, are available. Other things to note South Africa is experiencing "load-shedding" when power goes out for around 2.5hrs at a time - sometimes once, twice or three times a day. Different neighbourhoods are affected at different times; it could be that our area has power while another doesn't and v.v. A local app (Eskomsepush) provides a schedule which may help you plan your day but please understand that the timings are subject to change. We can help you set up this app so that you can keep informed. A few tips on what to expect: * It's a good idea to keep your devices charged at all times. * We have LED lamps in the apartment - for your own convenience please charge when the power is on. * Wifi will not be available during "load-shedding". However, mobile operators try and keep their repeater towers powered during load-shedding so if you have data, you should still have connectivity. * ATMs/cash machines and fuel pumps won't work so it’s a good idea to keep your car filled up and a some spare cash for emergencies. * Some restaurants have generators We're nothing if not flexible and try and keep a sense of humour when the power is off.
