Our traditional static caravan sits at the top of Marsland valley it’s a beautiful south facing location that gets intense sunshine or a bracing wind! We have 3 acres of wildlife habitat, supporting small mammals, birds and hedgehogs . There’s an area of garden for you to enjoy some alfresco dining which overlooks the meadow our local barn owl hunts in the spring and summer. We provide a breakfast basket on arrival of cereal, porridge, croissants, bread, jams, fruit juice, milk, coffee, tea. The space The caravan is 12 ft wide and 28ft long, 1 Double Bedroom ( Double bed ) and 1 small bedroom with a Single Bed. Beds are made up on arrival with fresh white, hotel quality bed linen. Egyptian cotton bath towels are provided for each guest. Guest access The grassed area, table and chairs are there for your enjoyment, alfresco dining and if its warm enough sunbathing! You are welcome to walk around the field and the small wooded area at the bottom of the 5 acres , if you have a dog please keep it on the lead, especially at night as we have hedgehogs that would be disturbed by a dog.... oh and please bag up any poo however small, we provide a bin to put it in for your convenience. Well behaved dogs do not need a lead within the fenced area. Please park your car within the fenced area and towards the end of the hard standing. Please close the gate at the top of the drive even if it’s open when you pass through. Other things to note Welcombe has a community village shop, ran by volunteers that opens Monday to Saturday 9:30am until 12:30pm. ( currently suspended )The “Old Smithy” pub (free house) situated 1.7miles along the Lane has great selection of cask Ales, local Gins and Ciders. Their menu has a varied selection of delicious meals for lunch & evening including a number of light bites. It’s not the best walk as the lane can get busy but there is a byway we can show you however it’s a perfect cycling distance.
