The Place was found and established by a staunch Irish gentleman called John Joseph Murphy during the British India. We welcome you to the unlost rhythm of pure nature. Yendayar " which in Tamil translates to " En Thaai Aaar" which means "My mother River".The main attractions are its amazing Water falls. The space Yendayar was one of the epicentre in the golden history of God's own country.The place was found by a Irish gentle man during the 1800's. The English Men came and settled here in these mountain's for tea and Rubber cultivation. The property was once used as the Golf field.We still have the remnants of these memories. The property is built in the banks of Manimala River.We have a separate access for getting into the River.The River is safe for even kids to bath and play. The Rooms are build to view and feel the beauty of the River. The Guest with will be provided with 2 Non AC( AC Not required during monsoons and winter)double Rooms with basic amenities.The main motto is to make you feel the wonder of Nature rather than the lavish hotel stay feel in cities. The place is 13 km from it's nearest town mundakayam.A new road to Vagamon is under construction which cuts the time to 20 mins from 95 mins, from yendayar to vagamon.The yendayar-vagamon road now offers a perfect off roading opportunity.The Ride through the Western ghats. These old heritage forest roads is one of the best adventure spot these days. Nearest Airport is Cochin International airport which is 3 hour drive to property. Nearest Railway Station is Kottayam which can be reached in less than 90 minutes. We provide local sight Seeing to beautiful waterfalls.There are mainly 3 waterfalls under 5 km drive from property. The are best in the monsoon's.The mom made food will be one of the best, you can ever taste in your Trip. Terrace which can be used by ladder stairs can accommodate Tents ⛺ during Rain, so you can have a complete Rain Experience with complete safety. Self Irornig is free of coast. No kitchen Access to guest. During your stay You can connect with the care taker or the Assigned Guides in their phone numbers Other things to note This property is located in Yendayar which is the foothills of Vagamon.
