Description
Clydfan (means 'cosy cottage' in Welsh) is one of two south-facing former quarryman's cottages looking toward the Preseli mountains. Originally two-up-two-down, the cottage was extended to the west in the 1970s for a kitchen and bathroom to be added and the two downstairs rooms are now a tiled through lounge. It's small, but set in a large garden; part wild and part lawned, so plenty of places to hide in. Footpaths lead to the slate quarries and to Glogue. The space You'll be a secluded half mile from the road, sharing the un-made track with the quarryman's cottage next door and some horses. Tegryn village has a pub almost in walking distance (uphill) while Crymych and its shops is four miles. So it's a hideaway from which you can launch expeditions to tour the area - or just hideaway in. Guest access All of it. Your hosts live 15 minutes away
