Gîte Au Jardin des Arts, Barbizon

A sunny and quite gîte located in the center of Barbizon. The gîte is compact, well thought and with all modern amenities. Its ideal for families, climbers, nature and art lovers. A stone throw away from shops, museums art galleries, restaurants and of course de forest. Note that the gîte is located above a boutique-gallery and it has a staircase inside that leads to the 2sd bedroom. Enjoy the terrace (south facing), the smell of the whisterias in spring and summer. Rest in our beautiful garden. The space The gîte is located on the property of and artist who refurbished a studio of the 19th century, the only one in Barbizon still in "use" and owned by a living artist. The duplex is located above a gallery. On the first floor you have a shower room with WC, an open kitchen on the living room. Access to the terrace (south facing)from the living room. A bedroom with double bed (bed linen are included). On the first floor a dressing and a corner for children to play with plenty of books and toys. A bedroom with roof window and 2 single beds. There is a very pretty garden- with a bench to rest under the roses or a swing for children to play. As a special attention to our guest we offer a tour of the studio with an apéritif&organic wine, when possible according to your schedule and Erikas. Guest access Our guests have their own private entrance (shared with another gîte on this property) and have to cross part of the garden to access the gîte Au Jardin des Arts. This gîte has its own terrace facing south view upon the pretty garden, but you can also use the garden. Other things to note Please make sure to read all items and rules of the house to avoid unwanted reservations. Parking is easy in the street next to the gîte (free) and free public parking next to the house. There is the possibility to rent crash pads. Bed linen are included for the double bed. Towels and bed linen are included only for the guests mentioned in the contract.
