Cottage near Applecross
Description
Weavers Cottage is a self-catering holiday cottage in Fearnmore near Applecross on the north-west coast of Scotland. A cosy, peaceful getaway with spectacular sea views. The drive to the cottage from either direction is stunning! An ideal base from which to explore the local area, or hole up for a relaxing break in an idyllic location. Dogs welcome! The space Weavers Cottage is an open plan kitchen and lounge space with a double bedroom on the mezzanine above the lounge. There's also a double sofa bed in the sea facing sun room for additional guests. The kitchen is well equipped with all the basics, an electric oven/hob and microwave. The lounge is cosy with a multi fuel burner, whilst the oil fired Rayburn provides additional heating in the colder months. As well as books there is a DAB radio, bluetooth speaker, a record player and a TV & DVD player with a selection of movies for kids and adults. Some games are also available to provide entertainment on rainy days. You might find yourself gazing out to sea for hours from the sun room, and if you look for long enough you'll be likely to see seals on the rocks by the shoreline. The bathroom leads off the sunroom and has a bath with shower attachment plus a laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer. Bed linen and towels are provided. Please note that since the bathroom does lead off the sun room, the double sofa bed is not a separate bedroom. Outside, the cottage has an area for BBQs and watching the sun go down. The local sheep might come and say hello! Guest access the whole house is yours... Other things to note Weavers Cottage has its own private water supply from a local loch hence its slight brown colouring - this is from the peat on the hill. It is passed through a filter system and regularly tested by the Highland council so perfectly safe to drink - you may wish to bring some bottles of drinking water with you.
