Treetop Sanctuary With Sea Views
Treetop Sanctuary With Sea Views
Description
Recently renovated this 1940s weatherboard house with polished rimu floors is full of character and charm. Beautifully decorated and filled with artwork by local artists (and some from a bit farther afield) this is truly a home away from home. The house sits in an elevated position facing north so it gets all day sun and 180 degree views from the Centre of New Zealand in the east to Tasman Bay in the west. Located at the end of a cul de sac it's private and quiet. The space We love to collect art, primarily by local Nelson artists, and you'll find a lot of it in the house. A comfortable queen bed (Sealy Posturepedic) in each bedroom, fresh linen/towels and welcoming spaces (inside and out) make this home a joy to stay in. There are two decks with outdoor furniture to enjoy - one off the dining room/kitchen and the other off the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who like to cook - juicer, blender, coffee grinder, stick blender, oodles of pots and pans and baking paraphernalia and great knives. Our new addition is an espresso maker - Breville The Infuser - which gives you a cafe quality cup of coffee. The bathroom has a heated towel rail, sun lamps and a heater to keep you warm on those cooler autumn/winter mornings. There is also a heatpump in the lounge and a second larger heatpump in the dining room/kitchen. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house apart from one room downstairs (which we use as storage).
