Stunning views and great location for the village square and all its amenities including butchers, bakers, bars, restaurants. If you are here for a wedding, then you are in great proximity to both churches popular for ceremonies. The subterranean church of Saint Jean, also known as 'The Monolithic Church' is a couple of minutes walk down the hill. The church of Saint Jacques is a moments wander up the hill. Iron and Ironing Board in the apartment. Travelling with little ones: We have a high chair, travel cot and buggy available, please don't hesitate to ask and we can pop them in the apartment for you. Guest access You will have the entire apartment to yourselves, the main entrance is shared with the upstairs apartment, but you have separate internal front doors. Other things to note Should you wish to leave the village, then a car is your best mode of transport with other villages and some smaller towns within a 10-15 minute drive. There are quite a few cycle routes from and through the village, so if you are here on two wheels, you won't be disappointed. Maps of these routes can be obtained from the tourist office situated within the village car park. Within the village itself there are plenty of amenities that you can walk to and from or should you like to see the area by water, you can hire canoes and kayaks at the river beach. Aubeterre holds a weekly market every Sunday, its the perfect place to pick up local delicacies and people watch whilst enjoying a coffee and pastry in the square. During the summer months there is also a bustling night market with an abundance of stalls and great music.
