Located in the heart of the Rossendale Valley, Rossendale Holiday Cottages offer the ideal spot for guests to enjoy the Lancashire countryside, offering a relaxing retreat for all guests who enjoy a bit of rural living. Beautiful outdoor spaces to BBQ and star gaze are available for all guests to enjoy. Excellent friendly staff, on hand to help, to provide breakfast. Free parking are offered. The space Heron Glamping Pod is one our larger premium pods, surrounded by beautiful countryside and has plenty of facilities including: - Double bed - Bedding and towels - TV and DVD player - Fridge - Heating - Free wifi - Free parking - Shared shower block and toilets - Beautiful country views - Access to shared fire pit and BBQ area The glamping pods are suitable for two adults sharing a double bed. Two children under 12 can be provided with a camp bed (bedding is not provided for camp mats) One child can be accommodated in a travel cot (by prior arrangement in advance of your stay) Pets are welcome in this pod, as long as a bed is provided and they are kept on a lead (by prior arrangement in advance of your stay, fees apply). Guest access The pods are on a 15-acre site and all areas are available for guests to enjoy. There is a young nature trail with benches for guests to sit on and take in the beautiful surrounding nature. On site there is a lovely communal 'Island' accessed by a charming wooden bridge over a brook. The Island, with weeping willows around its border, is a great place to unwind and appreciate the tranquillity that the area has to offer. It has a fire pit and BBQ area by the stream for all guests to use free of charge. We also have a large games room equipped with a pool table, table tennis, darts, TV lounge area with a large selection of DVD's, board games. Perfect hang out spot for those rainy days. The Hayshed Licensed Cafe Bar serves food and drinks from morning through to the evening, where you can also purchase logs and BBQ’s. Guests are welcome to use all areas of the site, including the barbecue area, nature trail and the exclusive Hayshed Cafe Bar. Other things to note We have a variety of walks/hikes/ bike rides directly from our site- please ask and we will be delighted to share these with you. We have bikes available for hire so you can explore the beautiful valley, please ask at the Hayshed Licensed Cafe Bar for prices and availability.
