The Orchards, Peak District Walking Hiking Cycling

The Orchards is a 19th Century cottage, beside a rippling brook in 5 acres of fruit trees, woodland and greenery. Surrounded by stunning countryside, this is a really beautifully, luxuriously appointed property and is the perfect location in the Peak District for a peaceful and relaxing break. Walking, hiking cycling, fabulous pubs open fire to come home to with areas such as Ashbourne, Bakewell, Chatsworth, Tissington trail, Dovedale, any so many others you are perfectly placed (check reviews) The space There are three bedrooms. 2 are spacey bedrooms with kingsize beds, one en-suite with a shower, and one with an adjoining bathroom with a bath along with a third bedroom that can be extended to accommodate 2 people (two single beds). Beds are extremely comfortable with egyptian cotton linen, and towels are supplied in all of the bathrooms. The modern farmhouse kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need, with a wooden table to all sit around, and a dishwasher, washing machine and electric cooker and microwave for your use, along with a separate fridge and freezer. A step from the kitchen there is a seating area in which to relax, or a double glass door access to a light and airy conservatory with more seats and sofas from which you can watch the birdlife that thrives in and around the stream outside. The stunning sitting room, with a 'Godin Colonial' French Woodburning fire and stone mullion windows is well equipped with two large sofas, an extensive range of books, games, and plenty of DVDs. Perfect to curl up and enjoy a well earned drink. There will be a basket of logs for you and you can purchase extra for £6 per basket. All freshly laundered bedding and towels are included to make your stay more comfortable. There is also a boot room for muddy walking attire. There is Wifi in the cottage and the cables recently updated to fibre from copper so working well but we would appreciate no streaming !
