First floor on a spacious houseboat next to NDSM

Houseboat is located in a small friendly houseboat village Just next to the amazing NDSM-area from where free ferry's leave towards the busy city centre of Amsterdam / Central station. This takes about 10 minutes. There is a new supermarket just next to the NDSM ferry stop/start NDSM-Bike rental just next to ferry stop. I offer boat trips. The space The Houseboat is divided in two floors, Guests have almost the entire upper appartment for them selves. Complete with their own kitchen bathroom and entrance. Only my linnen room upstairs is closed of for guests. I live on the 1st floor myself in a separate appartement. Its a huge space for Amsterdam terms in a nice and calm houseboat village. After climbing the STEEP stairs you will arrive in one off the guest rooms. There is a double bed in this room and it connects to the walk thrue to the seperate bathroom & stairway what you can close off with a hatch. A door typical nautic door connects you to the pentry/kitchen with the next following equipment: -Dishwasher -Microwave -Refridgerator -Coffee machine Senseo -Water cooker -No cooking facility Another door leads you to the best room from the house! This bright room is the master bedroom & master living room in one! -There is a nice sitting /relax area with comfortable Sofa where you could stream your own media up to the television if needed. -Big table where you could eat or work perhaps. -There is a big double bed in this room and enough cabinets to store clothes or luguage. -Information about the houseboat and area. Please do not use the fire stove!! If done you will be removed out off the accomodation. Its not nice for neighbors and a big potential fire hazard. Area: The NDSM used to be a huge world leading shipyard, almost a complete city it self back in the days! Nowadays it’s Amsterdam’s place for art festivals, unique creations, start ups, great bars and funky restaurants! You can bring your spray paint and make some of your own art up there! Easy accessible by free ferry from Central Station. Affordable parking for your car next to the village. Lots off parks and nature around and just a little bit out of the busy city centre! Guest access Guests have access to the hallway/ bathroom/stairs / guests bedrooms / livingroom /kitchenette without stove. This studio is almost the complete topfloor, I live downstairs myself. Other things to note Stairway upstairs and downstairs of course is very steep, be careful going up and down and help each other out with the luggage! Not the best place for people with disabilities unfortunately. Party's not allowed. Its nice and calm in our peacefull houseboat cummunity during the nights. Houseboats are not the best build and we all live close together so please keep the noise to an acceptable volume. Smoking on request (extra deposit&cleaning fee).
