WONDERFUL VILLA WITH HEATED POOL IN SPRING/AUTUMN

Welcome to Anthos, our charming resort nestled in the beautiful region of Abruzzo. The property features two elegant villas that share a central swimming pool, surrounded by lush gardens full of flowers and greenery. Set in a peaceful and relaxing area, Anthos offers the perfect balance between nature and convenience – just a short drive from both the sea and the mountains. It is located within my large olive grove, in a region renowned for its world-class wines and extra virgin olive oils. The space The villa is spread over two floors and is ideal for accommodating up to 12 guests. On the ground floor, you'll find a spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms (one double and one triple), two bathrooms, and a large covered porch – perfect for outdoor dining or relaxing. The first floor features two more bedrooms (one double and one triple) and two bathrooms: one with a shower, and the other with a hydromassage bathtub. The villa also offers a lovely private outdoor area, furnished with a table, chairs, and sofas – all with a beautiful view of the garden and the Gran Sasso mountain. Guests can enjoy a shared swimming pool (12x6 meters/open from April to September), used by only three other apartments in the second villa. The location is perfect for discovering all the different sides of Abruzzo: from the Gran Sasso to the Maiella, the Monti Gemelli, and the Adriatic coast. A perfect base for exploring the region’s natural beauty and cultural treasures. Guest access Our guests have full access to the entire garden surrounding the property, the swimming pool with hot tub, and a spacious sun deck equipped with umbrellas and loungers – perfect for relaxing under the sun. Each villa also offers a private outdoor space, furnished with a table, chairs, and comfortable outdoor sofas – ideal for dining, lounging, or enjoying an evening drink. The pool is solar-heated during spring and autumn, raising the water temperature by up to 5°C (9°F) for extra comfort in cooler seasons. Guests are welcome to use two large barbecues and a wood-fired oven – perfect for those who want to try their hand at making pizza (and we’ll be happy to help!). Between the two villas, there's a spacious play area with a foosball table and ping-pong table, offering fun for both kids and adults. Other things to note Abruzzo is a hidden gem, still relatively unknown abroad, yet rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage. It’s a region that has it all: the Adriatic Sea, rolling hills, majestic mountains, and a strong culinary tradition. The area is renowned for producing high-quality wines and extra virgin olive oil, recognized and appreciated worldwide. The local cuisine is outstanding, featuring everything from traditional mountain dishes to fresh Adriatic seafood. Art and history also play a key role in the region’s charm – many historical and archaeological sites can be discovered just minutes from the villa, even by bike. In summer, the area comes alive with local festivals and village fairs (sagre), where guests can enjoy typical regional dishes in a truly authentic atmosphere. A car is highly recommended to fully explore the area and move around comfortably; the nearest restaurants are about 1 km away, and the closest supermarket is 2 km from the villa. The owner lives on-site, in one of the apartments, and is always available for help or recommendations. Please note: the hot tub in the pool area is for adults only (minors are not allowed). We provide bed linen and towels for all guests. There is a quiet outdoor parking area right in front of the villa. For special or temporary needs, indoor parking may be arranged upon request.
