The space The apartment is a 65 m² Cycladic home on two levels (45 m² on the main floor and a traditional dome upstairs adding 20 m² of usable space), comfortable for a family or two couples. You enter from your own patio into the open-plan kitchen and living room. The kitchen is to your right, the living area continues to the left, and the stairs to the dome bedroom rise between them. Opposite the entrance, two doors open to the ground-floor bedroom on the left and the bathroom on the right. The living area has comfortable seating and a 32-inch HDTV with Fire TV stick (you can sign in to your own Netflix and other streaming apps). The kitchen has a ceramic hob, microwave, water kettle, toaster, filter coffee machine and espresso maker, plus a full set of pots, pans, plates and cutlery. It's stocked for everyday cooking and serving but not for baking. We always leave olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, plus a small welcome basket with water and basic snacks. The ground-floor bedroom has a double bed with quality linens, a large wardrobe, split AC, and complete blackout from solid wooden shutters. Up the stairs, the dome bedroom is the most traditional space in the house and the most photographed. It has a double bed with quality linens, split AC, two windows with wooden shutters, and a traditional wooden floor. The bathroom is full-size for the apartment, with a glass-enclosed walk-in shower. Outside, the patio is divided into two connected zones totaling around 35 m², more of a logical separation than a physical one. The first, in front of the main door, faces east toward the sea, with a dining table, a bench, and two lounge chairs. Early risers can catch the sunrise from their seat. The second sits just to the side, oriented to the west and shielded from the road by a privacy fence, with additional shaded seating that catches the gentler late-afternoon light. Both zones are fully shaded by fabric canopies. Guest access The full apartment and both patio zones are exclusively yours. You also have free access to the shared garden complex outside your patio, including the shaded mulberry-tree passageway and the larger traditional garden, where you can stop to look at the olive trees, aloe, and the variety of Mediterranean plants we grow. Free private parking is reserved for you in a dedicated spot just next to the property. Other things to note Andante is a 2-bedroom home for up to 4 guests, ideal for families with children or two couples traveling together. The two bedrooms are independent, the ground-floor one off the living area, and the dome bedroom up the stairs. The property sits on the calmer side of Kamari, far enough from the busy main strip and central market to keep things peaceful, but close enough to walk there in a few minutes. Around us you'll find small markets, bakeries, restaurants, and shops for everyday needs. The beach is two minutes on foot, with beach bars ranging from lively to relaxed and from budget to upmarket, so there's a spot for every mood. The apartment is well-insulated against the summer heat and outside sounds, with solid wooden shutters in both bedrooms for cool, dark, restful sleep. The dome bedroom is reached by a wooden staircase and has a traditional wooden floor. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, note that the kitchen does not have an oven or dishwasher.
