Welcome to Back to La Tierra, a “little paradise” where peace, creativity, and nature meet. In the Sierra de Mijas (Andalusia), our eco finca invites you to slow down and live mindfully — close to everything, yet away from it all. Our Casita is a cosy, stylish studio and is part of our finca with views of the garden and the Sierra de Mijas. The outdoor spaces (terraces, 4000m2 orchard and pool area) is shared with max 4 other guests from the neighbouring accommodations. The space De Casita (23 m²) was lovingly refurbished in 2026. It’s a bright studio on the ground floor of the main house with a private entrance. From the parking area on the upper level, you reach the studio via an outdoor staircase down to the studio level. Inside you’ll find an open-plan space with a partly separated sleeping area, windows with garden views, a bathroom with a shower (separated from the sleeping area by a sliding door), and a kitchenette with two hobs and a fridge. There’s also a small dining table for two and a sofa. Outside is where you’ll likely spend most of your time: a terrace right in front of the studio overlooking the greenery. The pool and lounge area are on the same level. Our orchard garden is being designed using permaculture principles; we occasionally host courses and trainings. In the mornings, Marina offers gentle yoga/relaxation sessions in the garden by the pond. Guest access A single car parking space is allotted in the upper driveway area. The lower terraces and pool area are reserved for you, our guests and you may need to share with four other guests from the Ochre Apartment and/or Sienna Suite. Our living space is on the top level, you may hear us moving around and see us in the garden. Other things to note This is a place for those seeking silence, rest, and a retreat-like vibe — close to nature and simple, beautiful living. Animals on the finca: You may meet our sweet dog Beno in the garden when we’re working there (he doesn’t enter guest rooms or the pool area). We also have curious cats and 8 chickens.
We do our best to keep the cats out of guest areas, but they may occasionally wander in.
