This delightful independent micro-apartment offers an ideal accommodation for those who want to spend a few relaxing days in the quiet of Gerano, the town of the oldest Infiorata in Italy, about an hour from Rome. Wonderful view of the Prenestini Mountains and surrounding villages. The space The "Giacaranda" tourist accommodation was my mother's birthplace. It has been recently renovated and is equipped with all kinds of comforts. A strategic point for visiting the surroundings, the town is located 30 minutes from Tivoli (20 km) (Villa d'Este - Villa Adriana) and 30 minutes (15 km) from Subiaco, (monasteries of San Benedetto and Santa Scolastica). The house is also a two-minute walk from the bus stop that leads to Tivoli and the Metro 'B' in Rome. It is perfect for those who are looking for something far from commercial tourism and love peace and quiet. It comfortably accommodates two people in the double room, and a possible third person in the sofa bed (size 175 X 75 cm) in the living room, where there is a table for four people (extendable). The kitchen is well equipped and has recently been equipped with a new refrigerator, stove and espresso machine. You can eat outdoors on the veranda that leads to the house, overlooking the mountains and the surrounding villages. Only upon request and with due advance, it is possible to organize a lunch or dinner based on local products with the participation of a home chef. Guest access The accommodation has a separate entrance and is entirely available for guests. Other things to note Depending on availability, you can book a private transfer from Fiumicino Airport for the cost of 70.00 euros (one way) and from Ciampino Airport for the cost of 50.00 euros (one way) by contacting the host 48 hours in advance.
