Our holiday apartment features a fully fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, a bright and airy living room with direct sea views, 1 double bedroom with large fitted cupboards & air-conditioning unit, 1 bathroom and a breezy balcony overlooking the Aegean Sea and Haraki beach. Free Wi fi. Everything you require for a self catering holiday is provided including linen, beach and bath towels. The house is serviced once a week for stays of over 7 nights. Our rates are all inclusive of bills, air con, bath towels and a weekly clean / linen change. Haraki is an old fishing village which is popular with locals and visitors due to its friendly and relaxed atmosphere, beach tavernas & restaurants. There are no late night bars,or clubs in the village - Haraki is where you come to relax and unwind - think lazy days on the beach and sunset drinks on the promenade as you watch the world go by... The apartment is within walking distance of just about everything... including beaches (one literally outside front door!) excellent local tavernas, car hire, minimarkets selling all the basics required for a self catering holiday as well as meat, fresh fruit and veg. Guests are met on arrival with the keys by our property manager. Should you require any assistance during your stay she is available to help. A complimentary welcome pack is provided to new arrivals with a few essentials such as tea, coffee, bottled water, fruit juice, etc - very handy for late night arrivals :D Beaches Haraki Beach... just roll out of bed onto your sun lounger! Haraki beach and bay is right in front of the apartment; to the left is the sandy side of the beach, to the right is sand and pebbles. You can rent a sunlounger at the hotel (a minutes walk) to the left. Agathi beach (my favourite beach on the whole island!) is a few minutes drive away, or you can walk in 15-20 min but it will be very hot! Its a long sandy beach, the only village nearby is Haraki so its quieter than the other beaches. Its very very beautiful. Travel Rhodes Diagoras airport is approximately 40km from Haraki. There is a taxi rank outside arrivals and a taxi to Haraki will cost about 45euro. Golf Golf course in Afandou is approximately a 20 minute drive from Haraki. About us... We are Tanya and Andy Potter. Andy is British and I am South African. After 6 years in the UK we moved to South Africa in January 2010. We love South Africa and are very happy here but we miss being so close to our island home on Rhodes... We bought our sunny apartment in Haraki about 9 years ago, and it was our much needed, much loved, sunny retreat from the UK. It is a special place, just off the busy tourist trail, but popular with local Greeks, and ex-pats who come to enjoy dinner with a view in the evenings or a quiet beach during the day. We have rented our apartment out every summer for the last 9 years and are doing so again in 2015. We have a wonderful property manager who lives on the island who will meet you with the keys and be on hand should you require any assistance during your stay. She ensures the apartment is cleaned inbetween stays, that your linen is fresh and there milk in the fridge when you arrive. We love Haraki, and we think you will too!
