World class tarpon fishing, superb flats fishing for reds, & Snook in the mangroves, Trout in the grass, giant Sharks in the pass, Mackerel in the harbor, Grouper on the wrecks. This area has quick access to Shell Pass, Pine Island sound, Charlotte Harbor. The boat ramp(Lavender Landings) is just around the block. There are beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and great kayaking in the area. There is a large tortoise 🐢 (Little Leopold) that lives on the back of the property, back corner in the deep hole! Please do not disturb him. Feel free to put out some fruits or veggies for him. Once owned by a famous musician, the home has the look of "old Florida", but is nicely updated. Mid century modern appointments and some well thought out design. Brand new HIGH end split unit air conditioner/heat. With WIFI and large flat screen wall mounted TV we have all the conveniences of home. A huge yard accompanies the home for your enjoyment. There are golf carts to rent for your entire stay, since there are areas on the island that are approved for them to use! Take ferries or your own boat to Cayo Costa, Sanibel, Boca Grande, Captiva, North Captiva, Useppa, or the legendary Cabbage Key to have lunch or dinner all just minutes away! Jug Creek Marina on the same street, just steps away, with your own fish/seafood market! Don't forget to boat past the Pine Island Sound historic cottages out on the water! Have a romantic dinner at Tarpon Lodge and sip a drink while you watch the best sun set view on the island and all within walking or golf cart distance from the cottage! There is a resident dolphin at the end of the street! See him from land or while kayaking or boating! Board games, and book exchange are here at the home to enjoy as well! So many more things to do and I can help you plan them all! The golf carts/kayaks/boats are available to rent through a local resources! Golf cart approved areas make it a fun addition to the trip!
