We have created for you a space where you can feel comfortable, let your soul rest, and stay for a week a month or maybe much longer than you initially planned. It's a place close to Nature. A small creek borders our property and the homestay is immersed in lush nature. The garden invites you to forage your own fresh herbs for cooking. The space The rooms are designed using local materials and traditional building styles, which helps to keep them cool without air-con. Each room has a comfy bed with quality linen and mattress. You also have a desk and private terrace to hang out, as well as storage area for you luggage. The room has a private spacious bathroom with a hot shower. A spacious, breezy common area is the perfect spot to hang out with friends, work or just relax. Our kitchen is fully equipped for your cooking, baking and coffee needs. All common areas and rooms are covered by the wifi. Our internet is fast and reliable. We habe satellite-based Starlink internet with a speed between 50-200Mbps. Guest access The room has its own private terrace and a desk/working area. The room as a private bathroom with separated shower and toilet. There is a communal kitchen space equipped with all your cooking necessities. During your stay Caretakers will be at the property to look after the guests and address concerns. We also live at our cafe nearby. Other things to note ***Some of our past guests complained about the noise from the neighbouring rooster farm. The roosters make a lot of noise during the early morning around sunrise, and during sunset. We can provide ear plugs, but cannot influence the roosters unfortunately.*** LO-A is conscious on our impact on the community and environment. We aim to avoid waste and source all our cleaning products from a refill station. We invite you to do the same and choose sustainability over plastic packaging. Whatever trash we produce is composted, upcycled and recycled as much as possible. LO-A donates 30% of profits to NGO's and causes supporting a stronger community and healthier environment. We are happy to put you in contact with volunteering opportunities and ways to contribute to positive change.
