Mount Nebo Studio

The Studio is the entire downstairs of the main house. It is completely separate to the host's quarters upstairs. You have your own entry and own private space with a bathroom, toilet, kitchen, verandah, lounge and bedroom. The Studio is located in a mountain community village, close to bush walking trails, mountain bike trails and cafes. Check-in is 12 midday. Check-out is 10am. The studio is NOT suitable for any more than 2 people, children under 12 years and pets. The space The Studio has a rustic charm, built from reclaimed timbers, but is newly constructed showing how old pieces can work within a new design. The unique nook-style bedroom has a double bed and offers a cosy place to sleep. The Studio is designed for two people only. Pets are not allowed in the Studio. There is only one double bed set up for your stay. The sofa in the loungeroom can be converted into a king single bed. If you would like to use the converted sofa, a $5 donation would be appreciated for the extra linen and mattress comforter required (please let the host know prior to your stay). Unfortunately, the studio and bush surrounds are not suitable for gests under 12 years old. The studio is not suitable for pets. You have your own private verandah. Eco-style facilities including rainwater supply, a Nature loo and organic handmade soap make your stay just a little more sustainable. A mozzie met, mozzie repellent and mozzie coils are all provided if needed. Please bring all your food and other provisions. The nearest shops are 20min drive away at The Gap and Samford. If you prefer drinking town water to tank water, bring up what you need. Check local café webpages such as' Café in the Mountains' at Mount Nebo and other cafes at Mount Glorious (a further 15 min drive up the mountain) for menus and opening times. TV reception can be intermittent on the mountain, and only select channels are available. Wi-Fi details can be found in the Studio compendium. Guest access Private access to the laundry is available for longer stays (please let the host know prior to your stay as a separate key is required). Unless your vehicle is large, please park your car in the driveway rather than in the street. The double brick driveway is shared with the host. If you park in the left, it will be easier to access the studio (facing the house, the studio is located down the left side). Other things to note Edie the friendly little black dog may greet you from the upstairs verandah. The Studio has a fully operational kitchen. If you would like to check-out later than midday, please check with the host. If another guest is arriving, this will not be possible :(
