The apartment is about 100 square meters/ 1076,39 square foot, it has two terraces, on both sides of the house. Grazia's apartment is the perfect place for a big family or group of friends coming to Florence for the first time, or for friends or family visiting. The place is only 15 minutes walk to Campo di Marte train station. The apartment is well connected to main attractions in town, but it’s also in front of a nice square full of restaurants, cafes and pubs. This part of town hosts some of the best eateries in Florence, such as Scheggi, famous for its panini sandwiches, or Pugi, a bakery that offers great variety and quality. Don’t miss out on the aperitivo in Bella Blu, only 2 minutes walk from the apartment, providing appetizers along some of the finest typical italian drinks, such as spritz, or Migrana, 1 minutes away from the apartment. It is a small shop where you can buy different kind of ready meals. Try the truffle sauce panini, or other tuscan typical finger food. When it comes to restaurants, good places around the flat are so many to list them all. I’m just going to name few of my favorites: Aviazione, Povero Pesce, Angolo del Mare, Pallaio, il Giuggiolo… check out the one that fits your taste better. If you dig the gelato, you will only have to choose: Ciolli, Conti, Badiani. They are all in the neighbourhood and produce exquisite traditional ice cream. If in Badiani, try Buontalenti cream, dedicated to the inventor of gelato, or savour the taste of real bitter chocolate, with dairy-free fondente. There also is a supermarket, Esselunga, only two blocks away, that provides huge variety and typical products. The area is surrounded by woods and parks. Close to the apartment, you’ll walk by viale Malta and Campo di Marte gardens, both with kids playgrounds and fitness stations. Villa al Ventaglio, a wonderful park coloured with flowers and water lilies, is just a few minutes away. The neighborhood sits at the bottom of the two hills that enclose Florence: Settignano and Fiesole, that can be easily reached by bus (10 to Settignano, 7 to Fiesole). You can also walk one of the many trekking trails that will take you to astonishing sightseeing spots in town.
