Shepherd's Hide, Hampshire with wood-fired hot tub

A truly luxurious ‘in touch with nature’ experience. Situated in it’s own private paddock in beautifully secluded yet accessible surroundings. Nestled between the Surrey Hills and the South Downs National Park, Shepherd's Hide provides a peaceful and tranquil retreat in the country. On the Hampshire/Surrey border surrounded by National trust woodlands and commons, the area offers access to many outdoor spaces, ideal for walking, cycling, riding, fishing or just relaxing. The space The Shepherd’s Hide offers luxurious ‘best of breed’ self catering accommodation. Ideally suited for couples looking for quiet and romantic few nights getaway. To help get you started we offer some basic supplies including; teas, coffee, sugar and milk. The kitchen provides a 2 ring electric (induction) hob, small fridge, kettle, toaster. Essential kitchenware includes; pots, pans, plates, bowls, cutlery, utensils etc. Cooking oil, salt and pepper are also supplied. Ensuite shower room with shower, flushing toilet, hand basin and heated towel rail. Wood burning stove (complimentary fire lighters, kindling and logs provided). The sleeping area includes a double (4ft 6" queen) ‘dropdown’ made up bed with a glass star gazing ceiling window. Bed linen and towels (Additional blankets for those colder nights). Complimentary toiletries. WiFi, Bluetooth sound system. NB. We provided internet access to the hut via our local network. If for some reason the internet fails or the network is slow, we can't be held liable. Shepherd’s Hide has a large, private and secluded outdoor space with an area for dining (table and chairs). Chiminea with complimentary firelighters, kindling and fire wood. Gas BBQ - for a convenient, easy outdoor cooking solution A Japanese style Ofuro hot tub (no bubbles) promises an intimate bathing experience for two. Wood fired (logs included), the hot tub offers total physical relaxation and zen for the mind. Take long, deep soaks to clear your head and unwind under the stars. Fresh water is used for each new guest. No chemicals or chlorines are used as the water is emptied onto the paddock grass when guests depart. At this time the hot tub is cleaned, sterilised and left to stand empty for 24hrs. On the day of guest arrival the tub is sanitised again and then filled with fresh water. The hot tub can be added to your stay for an additional £50 (payable prior to arrival). This sum covers 2000 litres of fresh water, unlimited supply of seasoned logs, kindling and fire lighters. Please note, the tub will be 'fired-up & ready to go' on your arrival.
