Le Cottage des Grillons in Gap, quiet and nice view

A quiet maisonette surrounded by fields and a few scattered homes. The view is beautiful over the valley, the starry sky, beautiful in any season, the field, vast and fenced, welcomes your pets; it is shared with our house (even if everyone has their own outdoor space). We accept 4 people but it is ideal for 2 (or couple with children). Pass by if you are looking for perfection; it is just warm and well-equipped but not perfect! The space This maisonette is quiet, clean and well equipped, pets are welcome. Let yourself be moved by the simple and no-frills spirit of the place! You have: - a living room area with TV + Internet, chaise longue convertible into a queen bed (no shutter in this room!) - an equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, dishwasher, Nespresso machine) with dining area for 2 people (possible to add a small pedestal table, but limited space), - a large bedroom with king size bed: new bedding and linen sheets (dried in the open air whenever the weather permits) with several storage drawers. Baby/child beds can be added upon request. - a spacious shower room with toilet, walk-in shower, sink, and washing machine area. - a private outdoor area located in front of the accommodation with dining table for 2 people, 2 deckchairs, 1 parasol, 1 BBQ, the exterior is being embellished: there is no silky lawn! - a common outdoor space, the large field in front, shared with the house, the whole being fenced which makes it possible to accommodate pets. What our cottage is: a peaceful place with a beautiful view and good bedding, a home decorated with care and true to our personality. Clean and tidy. Comfortable for two, adaptable for four if guests are flexible. Close to our house but separate! What our cottage is not: a perfectly perfect magazine accommodation (no, there is no air conditioning, no microwave, no silky lawn)! Cleaning is done carefully, yet you will sometimes meet small spiders or ants in season. The wall plaster is built with cracks, don't worry, it's normal! In short: let yourself move away from your habits! Thank you to travelers stressed by the need for perfection not to book: prefer a 5-star hotel instead!!! Guest access You have access to the entire 40 m2 accommodation. It is located on the same grounds as our house; the exterior is spacious and partly shared with us (or the guests of our house in July-August and during school holidays): - everyone has their own private space bordered by vegetation - the large field in front of our house and in front of the cottage is common. The outdoor space is being landscaped, the lawn looks more like a meadow than a golf green, it is the countryside atmosphere that dominates :-) If you want the perfection of the landscaped spaces: go your way, you are not at the right address!!! Other things to note I will gladly share my favorite addresses (restaurants, wine cellar, shops). I also offer two breakfast options (by reservation, excluding July-August and excluding school holidays, and depending on my availability): €10/person: - fresh bread, butter, jam, - coffee (with real bean grinding machine!), or leaf tea, or hot chocolate - small croissant or pain au chocolat (1 per person) €20/person: same as above to which I add: - cooked ham or bacon - egg (fried or boiled) - yogurt with muesli - fresh fruit juice
