Les Cabanes des Landes – Cabane Papillon

Peaceful haven nestled in the heart of the Corrèze countryside, on 5 hectares along the river. There is only one small road to access it and a multitude of paths to discover this wonderful corner of nature. Discover, during your stay, our way of living close to nature and our small family farm without giving up all the modern comforts. The space ❤️❤️❤️The Papillon cabin is one of our coolest cabins. In the shade of a hedge and built into the ground, it naturally stays cool.❤️❤️❤️ Please note: We will be away from August 28th to September 1st. There will be someone on site to welcome you and to handle things if needed, but there will be no activities (archery, spa, catering). However, you have free access to the pétanque court, pool table and dart board, as well as to animal care. The Cabane aux Papillons is a cabin built entirely with our wood, and the furniture is mostly made from branches, trunks, and roots found on the property You will find a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, microwave oven with grill, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, etc., as well as an indoor dining area and an outdoor one sheltered by a large awning. You will feel alone in the world. A fence marks the boundaries of your space, which our four-legged residents will not be able to enter. Life in nature doesn't mean doing without comfort, so it is equipped with all modern conveniences: water (cold, hot), electricity, Internet via Wi-Fi, TV. Mobile phones work via VO Wi-Fi or Internet telephony. Heating is provided by a wood-burning stove, which will also allow you to cook good meals in winter. (Wood provided) Bathroom facilities: private shower and dry toilet in sheds adjacent to the cabin. In the interest of protecting nature, we ask that you use the 100% biodegradable products that we provide. On sunny days, a communal area at the entrance of the property houses a dining and breakfast area, a relaxation area (TV, library, board games), and a recreation area with petanque, darts, and a pool table (reserved for those 12 years and older and under the supervision of parents). Several activities will be offered for an extra charge. SPA: A spa is available in a secluded part of the property. One session will be offered for any booking of 2 nights minimum. For safety reasons, it is not accessible to children under 12 years old. A babysitting service will be offered for small children if needed. Each session is privatized. On-demand session price (about 40 minutes): €10/person for residents of the huts rented for one night. Remember to book your session in advance. Guest access Vehicles can access the cabin in dry weather to bring things in on arrival and out on departure. Free parking is available at the entrance to the property in order to preserve the tranquility of the place. In rainy weather, for your arrival and departure, we will accompany you with our 4x4 vehicle. Other things to note Bathroom heated by hot-air ventilation taken from the cabin. Toilet not heated. On certain occasions, you will be able to participate in various farm activities if you wish (milking goats, cheese making, feeding animals, bottles), it is not possible to plan in advance the activities when you come, they are too random according to the births, the needs of the animals, the weather, but do not hesitate to tell us about it, there is always something in progress In addition to on-site activities (pétanque, board games, fishing, etc...). If you're looking for things to do, please let us know especially for those who request a reservation before your arrival, especially for short stays. You will find on site duvets and pillows. Bed linen, bath linens and tea towels are not included in the rental so as not to impose the additional cost on our guests. If you want to bring your own linen we will give you the size of the beds, for others, a linen pack is available with extra charge (€5/pers). For the final cleaning, we ask that the accommodation be returned in the condition in which it was found. If you have chosen the linen package option, please strip the beds without turning over the duvet and pillow covers, and leave the mattress covers on the beds. For those who wish, a cleaning option is available for €30, to be paid on site. Please let us know if possible upon check-in. Events allowed after agreement
