Quietly located in a small village on the still original east bank of Lake Starnberg, our accommodation is located in the attic of a well-kept villa. A short stroll through the forest and you are already at romantic bathing places with unique views of the mountains and sensational sunsets over the lake. The accommodation is the ideal base for a break in varied nature, surrounded by powerful places and historical monuments. Welcome to the lake. The space The property is composed of - two cozy bedrooms, each with a double bed, a small desk and wardrobe, - a sun-drenched lounge (usable as a third bedroom with double bed) with comfortable seating/dining area, sofa, TV, workspace and panoramic views over the village into the countryside and towards the Alps, - one bathroom with shower and sauna (for use we charge 15 euros per sauna) as well as - a kitchenette with stove, oven and dishwasher, Nespresso machine, kettle, milk frother, toaster, plenty of crockery, etc. Another area with a small bathroom and washing machine, an open-plan kitchenette with a bar counter, a dining table for 6–8 people, a living room with a sofa bed, a desk, and a TV, Another staircase leads up to the attic, where there is another double bed, another sofa bed, and a single bed. The property is located on the 2nd floor of a villa and is not a self-contained residential unit - from the stairs you enter directly into the hallway, from which the individual rooms as well as the bathroom leave. A children's travel cot, a changing mat and a high chair are available. In the larger room, another person can sleep on a bed mattress. In the lounge, in addition to the double bed, there is also a sleeping option for 1-2 people on the pull-out sofa. In winter, the larger room and lounge can also be heated with fireplaces. On the property there is a small sun terrace with seating, lounging, dining and BBQ facilities, which can be used by guests. Attention: Since a friendly dog lives in the house, please only people who are not afraid of dogs. Guest access The accommodation is accessed via the shared house entrance of the villa. Guests then use the shared staircase to go up to the second floor; the owners live on the ground floor and the first floor. Other things to note By car, it's about 10 minutes to Starnberg, 30 minutes to Munich, 60 minutes to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and the first ski and mountain hiking areas. Hikes through forests, through moors, over meadows and to the lake start right outside the front door. 2.5 km away you can rent SUPs and motorboats. A small cozy sitting area can be used by guests in the garden next to the parking lot; a barbecue is available. The sauna in the bathroom can be used for 20 euros per use (including Sauna towels and infusion). Dogs are absolutely welcome – unfortunately, however, we cannot accept unneutered male dogs. For shaggy guests we charge an extra fee of 10 euros per day. There is a possibility to do laundry in the washing machine in the 2nd bathroom; a clothes drying rack is provided. Ironing board and iron are available on site.
