Quietly located in a small village on the still original east bank of Lake Starnberg, our accommodation is located in the attic of a well-kept villa. A short stroll through the forest and you are already at romantic bathing places with unique views of the mountains and sensational sunsets over the lake. The accommodation is the ideal base for a break in varied nature, surrounded by powerful places and historical monuments. Welcome to the lake. The space The accommodation is composed of - two cozy bedrooms, each with a double bed, a small desk and wardrobe, - a sun-drenched lounge (usable as a third bedroom with a double bed) with comfortable seating/dining area, sofa, TV, workplace and panoramic views over the village into the countryside and towards the Alps, - a bathroom with shower and sauna (for use we charge 15 euros per sauna session) and - a kitchenette with stove, oven and dishwasher, Nespresso machine, kettle, milk frother, toaster, plenty of dishes, etc. The property is located on the 2nd floor of a villa and is not a self-contained residential unit - from the stairs you can reach the hallway directly, from which the individual rooms and the bathroom branch off. There is another apartment in the attic that is currently rented out. Our tenant gets to his apartment via the same hallway. There are no other overlaps. A travel cot, a changing mat and a high chair are available. In the larger room, another person can sleep on a bed mattress. In the lounge, in addition to the double bed, there is also a sleeping option for 1-2 people on the sofa bed. In winter, the larger room and the lounge can also be heated with stoves. The property has a small sun terrace with seating, lounging, dining and barbecue facilities, which can be used by guests. Attention: Since a friendly dog lives in the house, please only people who are not afraid of dogs. Guest access The accommodation is accessed via the common entrance of the villa. Arrivals are greeted by three hospitable dogs. Other things to note By car, it is about 10 minutes to Starnberg, 30 minutes to Munich, 60 minutes to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and to the first ski and mountain hiking areas. Hikes through forests, through moors, over meadows and to the lake start right outside the front door. Paddle boards and motor boats can be rented 2.5 km away. A small cozy sitting area can be used by guests in the garden next to the parking space; a barbecue is available. In the sauna in the bathroom, you can sweat for 15 euros per use (incl. sauna towels and infusion). Dogs are absolutely welcome (three are already there) - unfortunately, however, we cannot accept uncastrated males. For shaggy guests, we charge an extra fee of 10 euros per day. There is a possibility to wash laundry in the basement. Two washing machines and a dryer are available for this purpose. For a wash load (including drying), we charge a fee of 5 euros (including detergent). An ironing board and iron are available on site.
