The summer sunsets from the balcony are amazing! This is a romantic retreat for couples or a holiday studio for one or two people that is unique and offers private, stylish accommodation within lovely frangipani filled gardens. It is built on steel stilt girders high above and behind an heritage fisherman's terrace house at the front of the property, so it is very private and has amazing views out to sea to the islands and beyond. It also has its own private entrance through an old heritage barn gate. YOU CANT' BEAT THIS LOCATION. The beach is across the road and we provide beach towels and flippers and snorkels if you need them. Just 50m around the corner in South Terrace there is an array of great local restaurants - Italian, Indian, Thai, Mexican, seafood, lovely historic local pubs, a baker, a grocer, health food shop, gift shop, cafes and cake shop. In the street behind is the bus route 532 that goes into Fremantle every 15 minutes so you can take the route along South Terrace, stopping along the way for you to be able to access the museums, port, Fisherman's Harbour, Esplanade park, the ferry to Rottnest, the High Street and historic Fremantle's beautiful world heritage listed West End. There is also plenty of free parking out the front of the property or you can park just 30m from the studio in Sheedy St and enter via the back gate. You will love this hideway in the sky. It's charming and unique. It features a unique blend of old and new. Heritage features like 100-year-old french doors etched with sailing boats blended with modern additions like air conditioning and a compact but sweet bathroom. There is a microwave and bar fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Also your own BBQ facilities downstairs and underneath the studio. The balcony looks over a lovely frangipani filled garden with herbs and vegies and out to the sailing club boats and Indian Ocean beyond. From there you will get to experience the mornings across the seas, the spectacular sunsets in summer and the sparkle of the boats' lights at night from the sailing club opposite.
