A unique mansion nestled in the quiet and charming hills of Southern Burgundy. Enjoy beautiful rural scenery, large common areas and easy access to the historic sites of Cluny and Taizé. The space The home, built by an architect, mimics how ships are built - smaller sleeping quarters with large communal spaces - a perfect place for a family getaway, a reunion or trip among friends. The house consists of 3 private bedrooms (with a bed for 2 persons each) and a communal mezzanine area with 3 beds possibility (of the beds cut off for privacy). One large communal space/living room, perfect for entertaining, 2.5 baths, smaller communal space furnished with fuse ball table and an office. The large outdoor area is lush and private, perfect for al fresco dining. 10 minutes away from both Cluny and Taizé this is a perfect lieu to discover this historic region. Guest access With the exception of a storage room and a workshop where the heating machine is located, all rooms in this large house are accessible. Other things to note Be aware that dust and insects are part of country life. You will arrive in a clean place, but it is always possible for dust and small insects to get in, especially in warm weather!
