It has since been tastefully renovated with a full bathroom, clawfoot tub and large living area with sink, fridge and microwave. The private deck has a hot tub on it where you can relax and spend time with your favorite person. Staying here feels like stepping into the past where history comes to life with every charming detail. One of the best things about this property is its proximity to exploration and attractions. It's an excellent adventure basecamp from which you can head deeper into the mountains and visit Woodland Park or down into Colorado Springs within 10 minutes. Some of the highlights close by:

Other things to note This historic caboose has an evaporative cooler and fan for comfort, not AC. Thanks to the high elevation, shade from surrounding hills and trees and the nearby creek, refreshing air flows naturally at night. These elements combine to make heat a problem only during the hottest days.
