We offer a range of impressive accommodation to suit everyone - from twin and double rooms to studio gîtes to wooden chalet - all set within the stunning surroundings of 80-acre Domaine de la Ribiere on the edge of the Limousin National Park. Ideal for a short break or as a base for a longer stay to explore the surrounding area including the Dordogne and La Route Richard Coeur de Lion. The space Dating back to 1691, Domaine de la Ribiere has long been a destination for travellers to rest and recuperate. Our mezzanine gite has been sympathetically renovated to retain its stone barn character whilst providing comfort and practicality for families or groups of friends. The open plan 30sqm space on the ground floor includes a kitchen and dining area, double sofa bed and bathroom with bath and overhead shower. The kitchen offers a combination microwave/oven/grill with hotplate, kettle, Krups Dolce Gusto coffee maker and toaster. All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are supplied as is bedding and towels. The television offers French television channels. On the mezzanine floor above is a double bed - please note there is restricted head height so perhaps not for the tallest members of your party! For outdoor eating you have your own private terrace facing onto the traditional French courtyard. Guest access We have 80 acres of woodland filled with impressive specimen trees from around the world which attract a variety of wildlife including deer, boar and birds. Our heated swimming pool is open May to October and we have a children's play area. Enjoy a walk around our woodland or 20-acre lake or get out and about with numerous suggestions from us for what to do during your time at Domaine de la Ribiere.
