There are two bell tents here, near to each other, but each in their own private area. Gwel an Mor is next to The Glade. It has panoramic sea views that enable you to see as far as St Ives and right down the Godfrey Coast. You can watch the sun set over the sea whilst sat around the fire pit or from the bell tent. A box of firewood is provided at the start of your stay with extra available for a small charge. Dogs are especially catered for, we don’t just allow dogs, we welcome them! We have grooming equipment available to borrow if your furry friend has a disaster (we've all been there!) There is a two dog limit per Bell tent unless previously agreed with us (just to ensure that everyone can fit in the tent!) We are in the process of trying to replant woodland on our land as it was all paddocks when we bought it, so you will see hundreds and hundreds of saplings, nestled around earth walls and in their protective guards all over the site. It can get quite windy up here so we have to protect them while they are baby trees. We’ve planted species that are great for wildlife, and also some that humans can forage from too. It’s a long term but very exciting/rewarding projectHopefully if you are ever a returning visitor, in years to come you will get to see them grow into trees and native hedges. . We have 8 gorgeous Newfoundland dogs who live in the farmhouse with us and have their own areas to wander around in. You may occasionally hear them barking a hello. You don't have to bring a dog to stay, but if you don't like dogs we may not be perfect for you. We operate as a Greener Camping Club members-only site. When you book your holiday with us, you will be enrolled as a Member of the Club. Membership costs just £10 and gives you access to some of the greenest and coolest campsites in the UK. It also includes participation in the Club's 'Trees for Life' scheme, whereby a tree is planted for every Member we enrol. We’ll issue your membership e-card upon receipt of your holiday deposit.
