*Now with fibre internet connection* For those who love the sea, but like a quiet space to relax in away from the crowds and take in the beautiful nature this area has to offer. The self catering apartment is nestled in amongst cinnamon fields and jungle at the end of a residential road in Hikkaduwa. A short scooter ride or pleasant stroll to the beach. The space One of four celf-catering properties on the same site. The apartment is equipped with.. Fitted kitchen- fridge freezer, gas hob and sink with utensils, large breakfast bar with seating on terrace. Ac/fan bedroom with: desk and chair, large four-poster bed with mosquito net and wardrobe for clothes storage. Bathroom with: Hot water bath/shower, sink and towel rail/towels. It is an amazing wildlife-spotting area so you can lie-back and watch the monkeys, birds and chipmunks. In addition to this we have now opened up our adjoining garden for guests to access our plunge pool! This is one of 4 apartments which are all slightly different- Bamboo, Jackfruit, Kurundu and Kittul. If you are travelling as a group there is a possibility of booking all four as a discounted block so please let us know if interested. We can arrange transfers, scooter hire or tuk tuks. Amila is a surf instructor and enjoys teaching our guests! Please note that these apartments are designed for 2 adults sharing rather than families. For that reason amongst others, we only consider taking children and infants in certain circumstances where we think it can work. Please consult with us before booking if you're travelling with a child, thank you. Guest access Guests have full access to the garden, and plunge pool area (until 10pm each night). Other things to note We provide towels but please don't take them to the beach-we now have sarongs in each room for this purpose. During high season Sri Lanka often suffers from droughts..please be thoughtful of your water consumption and don't use more than necessary at this time. For this reason we try to be mindful ourselves and not replace towels etc too frequently during your stay-the laundry uses a lot of resources. Also, this is a leafy, green area so please don't be surprised if leaving your doors or windows open leads to insects or geckos entering the room! Leaving food on surfaces quickly attracts ants so please don't take food into the bedroom. Working remotely? Please note we provide Fibre wifi but during power cuts it's best to have a local SIM or mini router with its own power supply to remain connected. *please note* Due to the ongoing situation with gas shortages in Sri Lanka, it's often hard to replace gas bottles, please be patient with us at this time as we will always do our best to source replacements for you.
