This spectacular apartment is located in the historic district of the city of Porto, in a square that dates back to the 17th century: Praça de Carlos Alberto. Today, it is the most cosmopolitan square in the city. The city's most iconic monuments are a few minutes' walk away. The Carmo Church, the Lello Bookstore, the Clérigos Tower are just a few examples. It has good infrastructure around it, such as the Santo António Hospital, 150 meters away, the University of Porto's Polo1 and the Carlos Alberto Theater. The space The accommodation is located on the 2nd floor of a historic building that has been completely renovated. It is a small apartment, 30 m2, but the entire space is optimized. It consists of an entrance hall, a bathroom with shower base, a kitchen equipped with essential utensils and appliances (there is no dishwasher), a dining table, a double bed, a wardrobe and a sofa. Next to it is the access door to a beautiful terrace with chairs to enjoy a moment of rest or have a drink. There is also a washing machine. This accommodation, facing the back of the building, overlooks the colorful facades of neighboring buildings, so typical in this city. You can also appreciate the detail of the apartment's exterior coating, the schist, also very usual in the historic buildings of Porto. It has 2 huge windows that provide a lot of light to the space. The dining table can be transformed into a work area during your stay, if you have this need. The internet is very fast throughout the accommodation. The accommodation can accommodate 1 or 2 people. It is suitable for children, but we do not provide a crib, bathtub or high chair in this accommodation due to space restrictions. It has an air-conditioner. The building does not have an elevator, so access to the apartment, which is on the 2nd floor, is exclusively by stairs (3 flights of stairs). Guest access The stay includes access to the entire apartment, (except the locked cabinet next to the kitchen table), as well as all appliances and utensils available in the kitchen and all hygiene and cleaning products available in the accommodation. Other things to note We want the accommodation to meet your expectations. The building does not have an elevator, and it is necessary to climb 3 flights of stairs. It is a small apartment (30m2), where the space has been fully optimized. If you like to be in a space with large areas, then this accommodation is not for you. The apartment is located in a dynamic area, and there may be some noise coming from outside, especially on weekends or on festive occasions. Therefore, we do not guarantee nights without any noise. Buildings in the vicinity are being renovated, so there may be some construction noise during the day (Monday to Friday between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.). It's a situation that's out of our control.
