Description
MATER was the last tuna boat built in 1990 and since 2005 it is a museum that shows the way of life of Basque fishermen and the importance of the conservation of the marine environment. This magnificent setting is rented by rooms to be able to cover the maintenance costs of the boat itself and the environmental work that the organization Itsas Gela- Aula del Mar does on board. Thanks for your cooperation! The space MATER is a iconic boat. This traditional Basque fisherman built in the traditional wood way saves the typical forms of shipbuilding with the rounded stern and fan bow. Sleeping on board is definitely a unique experience that will not leave you indifferent. Currently, being a museum, during the day it is open to the public so you will not be able to access the ratings. The service includes the evening with breakfast, with check-in from 10pm to 12am and check-out before 10am. As it is a wooden fishing boat in case it rains it is very likely that water will enter the rooms, for that reason the host will contact the host two days before the night on board to confirm the weather conditions and therefore the stay onboard, if necessary to be able to cancel the stay. Guest access Assigned rooms, toilet and dining room for breakfast. Other things to note There are two rooms that can be rented to sleep. This listing is exclusively for the original old fisherman's bedroom with 10 single beds. These beds are the originals of a traditional boat dedicated to low-key fishing, so they're narrow, leaned against the bow. Its approximate size is 190cm x 55cm. The other advertisement presents the bow cellar space with 2 single beds and another 2 double beds.
