Double room in friendly family house in Hardwicke

Friendly hosts provide a clean and comfortable room in a detached (non-smoking) family home in a quiet residential cul-de-sac. The house is close to bus routes to Gloucester, Stroud and the Cotswolds. It is also within a five minute walk of a Tesco Express shop (open 7-11), and a mile from two large supermarkets. Restaurants and pubs are within walking distance. Excellent location for walkers, especially as a stop-off while doing the Cotswold Way. Local walk information available. The space The room is a compact double bedroom - well decorated - on the first floor of a detached family house. It provides a wardrobe and drawers, bedside tables with lamps. The modern private bathroom at the end of the landing features an electric shower. Towels, bedding, soap and shampoo are provided. The house is centrally heated and double glazed, so warm in winter. An electric fan is available in hot weather. A 'help yourself' breakfast is provided in the kitchen/open-plan dining room, including cereal and toast. Tea, coffee and water are available in the kitchen at all times. Guests are welcome to eat ready prepared/take away meals in the dining room, including using the microwave if required. Free Wi-Fi is available, along with driveway parking on request. Guest access The house is ideally located for main routes being 5 minutes drive from Junction 12 of the M5 and 20 minutes drive from both Gloucester and Cheltenham. We are five minutes walk from bus stops accessing frequent services into Gloucester and regular services to Stroud. During your stay We are a professional married couple who mostly work from home and are available to provide check-in, answer questions and provide local information throughout your stay. We are keen walkers and can provide walk information, OS maps for loan, and information about other places to visit in the Cotswolds, Forest of Dean and other nearby locations (including stately homes and castles in the region). We can also provide information on local places to eat/drink.
