Nestled in a quiet and charming village, our vacation home offers a romantic getaway for couples looking for relaxation, silence and authentic charm, or for those traveling who want to give themselves a moment of rest. DOMUS is a 38-square-meter apartment in the center of Veroli. Perfect for couples with children. SEARCH "THE DOMUS VEROLI" ON YOUTUBE TO SEE THE VIDEO The space THE HOUSE - Bedroom: double bed with slatted base, 3-door wardrobe with chest of drawers; wicker armchair, bookcase, stereo. In case of booking for 3 guests, a slatted cot is available for the third person. - Kitchen: in rustic style, with washing machine, fridge with separate freezer, electric food warmer oven, dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots; it can easily be used for cooking, with 4 methane gas stoves supplied by the public network. - Bathroom: sink, bidet, toilet, shower; the bathroom is for the exclusive use of the guests of the house and is not shared with other people. Guests receive a set of 3 towels per person for their stay, consisting of a shower towel, a hand towel and a bidet towel. - Hallway: backrest for hanging coats with mirror; part of the house's original wall has been left exposed as an aesthetic furnishing element. - Storage room for household tools. A clothesline is available to dry washed clothes. - Babycare: the house is equipped with a foldable crib (with mattress, pillow, sheets) for children up to 3 years old, a high chair and bottle warmer. It is NOT equipped with: changing table for diapers, bathtub, playpens and floor protection mats. All rooms are equipped with working radiators, and all the faucets in the house are mixers for C/F water. All the windows have mosquito nets. Boiler overhauled according to law. Armored front door with manual security and peephole. The period building does not have an elevator, because the common areas of the condominium do not allow its installation, so you have to climb about thirty steps to get to the third floor. • PARKING: 50-100 meters from Via delle Selle, there are free temporary parking lots, but just 300 meters from the house there is a multi-storey parking lot open all day, with 24-hour parking costing 4 euros. Guest access The house is on the third floor of a late 1700s building, in an airy and bright position. 100 meters from Piazza Mazzoli where the town hall is located. From Via delle Selle you can visit numerous Veroli monuments and important historical and tourist sites. ON FOOT - Fasti Verulani: in Via Vittorio Emanuele you can admire the calendar of the Fasti Verulani, a marble slab displayed in the medieval courtyard of the Reali house, dating back to the 1st century AD, containing the first three months of the year: - Scala Santa: in the basilica dedicated to the patron saint of the city, Santa Maria Salome, you can admire and climb the Scala Santa, twelve steps that have the same plenary indulgence as that in San Giovanni in Laterano in Rome. - Cryptoporticus: an underground walkway dating back to the 2nd century BC, which is accessed from the town hall; of uncertain origin, perhaps it was used in antiquity as a warehouse or mass grave, extending under the entire Piazza Mazzoli. - Chapel of the Eucharistic Miracle: in the church dedicated to St. Erasmus, a few hundred meters from the central squares, there is the chapel of the Eucharistic Miracle. Here during Easter 1570 on the occasion of the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament some believers saw a glow above the chalice of the Eucharist. - Cathedral Treasury: a treasure kept in a chapel of the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea, in Piazza Mazzoli. It dates back to 1572 and consists of numerous relics and sacred and precious objects. BY CAR - Casamari: 9 kilometers from Veroli center (15 minutes by car) is the Abbey of Casamari, a Gothic-Cistercian monastery built in 1203. Inside there is the church dedicated to Saints John and Paul dating back to 1005. - Prato di Campoli: 16 km from Veroli center (30 minutes by car), there is the Prato di Campoli plateau, an ideal place for excursions, mountain hikes and a day outdoors in direct contact with the purest nature. - Trisulti: 17 km from Veroli (30 minutes by car) in the municipality of Collepardo, there is the Trisulti Charterhouse. Founded at the end of the first millennium as a Benedictine complex, today it belongs to the Congregation of the Cistercians of Casamari.
