Welcome to our newly renovated home with a truly Zen feel and areas inviting to relax or spend time together. We love meeting new people. The bed is in a shared room(Office), it is a double loft-bed 3 meters above the floor. You have to climb up to the bed! Entire home is shared with us! We have work and school and daily routines. There will be times when the kitchen is not perfectly cleaned, and when there is stuff laying around. But we hope you'll enjoy being a temporary part of our family! The space We offer a queen sized loft-bed elevated 3 meters above the floor in our office/guestroom, with a panorama window just by the bed. You have to climb to get in to the bed, so look at the picture of the stairs. We find it easy to climb :) We normally work from here during workdays, but we can take our laptops out into the living room in the morning to give you some extra sleep time. But be aware it is a shared space during day time, and we will need to work from here, or use the computer during weekends from time to time. Our entire house is open to use and we love having guests around, kitchen living room and what else you need, just basically feel like home! There will be space both in the refrigerator and cupboard for foods. A toilet is situated just outside your room and it is a bathroom with shower just down the stairs. There is lots of room out on the terrace and in the garden, and we also have a rooftop terrace with a jacuzzi that is warm all year round. Guest access The environment is friendly and home-like. Here you share a house with a family who love to meet new people. Our home is unique in form of being a home. We invite you in to share with us the daily life of a family of four crazy loving people. The kids are 11 and 13 at this time and almost fluent in English. You are more than welcome to stay around and talk, play, make food or watch TV. Have a chat or just relax in the bean bag reading a book. Or you can retreat up in to your bed, or one of the living room areas to get some space. There are a lot of hiking opportunities here, swimming and things to see. And a short bus ride in to Oslo city centre. We offer parking on our premises, and it is only a 7 min walk to the bus and closest shop. During your stay We will do our best to help you find your way around, answer any question or arrange things. We also love playing games, sit around and talk or watch TV together. And when possible would love to plan and share dinnertime together with you if you would like that. The three cats will also give you all their love, most likely way more than you ask of them ;) Other things to note Do remember that we are a family of four, with three social cats on top of that. Our home won't always be spot shine clean, and there will sometimes be children having fun or being angry and stomping around. But we do hope you'll enjoy being a part of our family. We do our best to include everyone in our house. And you can bring friends over anytime! :) Welcome home, just sums it up!
