Our house is a beautiful 1905 Federation home. It has magnificent views over the River Derwent and the Hobart CBD. We have renovated, in keeping with its period style, while creating modern renovated bathrooms. You can walk down the hill to the CBD or Salamanca or wander around trendy West Hobart. There are plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants and a nature reserve at the top of the hill. It is a peaceful and quiet oasis. We are happy to give you privacy or share a coffee or wine with you. The space We have keyless entry. You have your own modern, recently renovated, private bathroom. A very comfortable queen brass bed with luxury linen. There are magnificent views from your bedroom window and a verandah to sit and enjoy the garden and the view. Guest access Your bedroom, adjoining private ensuite and outside verandah with table and chairs. During your stay We are happy to meet you, enjoy a coffee or wine and share our tips for visiting Hobart and the rest of Tasmania. We have travelled extensively over the state and having lived here for 60 years we consider ourselves very knowledgeable about the best things to see and do in Hobart and the rest of our beautiful state. We have created a hand written book of suggested things to do during your stay. So if you prefer privacy you will still get the benefit of our local knowledge.
