The Woodhouse downstairs unit is a self contained lower floor of an older style 2 storey house. Close to the lake (but not waterfront), beaches and bush, just 90 minutes North of Sydney. Enjoy nature and relaxation in a comfortable home. There is a unit upstairs that is also listed on Airbnb. The space This is a self contained 3 bedroom unit, in the beautiful village of Nords Wharf. You will have all your own facilities including: - a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, gas cooktop) - bathroom with Japanese style bath (suitable for kids), shower & separate toilet - an entertaining area out the back with magnificent views of the sunset. The space comfortably fits six people in three rooms: two rooms with queen beds and one with two single beds (all with innerspring mattresses). The place is modest, with bamboo floors throughout the living space and carpet in the bedrooms. We renovated a few years ago so the kitchen is nice, and some things have not been completely finished, so please don't expect brand new condition! You can be assured that we are always doing things to improve the place as a result of guest feedback. It is an older style home with all the faults that go with it. It is also a Non-Smoking property, even in the outside areas. We have a no pet policy as this property is unsuitable for pets (even though we love them). Our pricing starts with a base price for 1 person and there’s an extra cost for each extra guest. This is to make it affordable for smaller groups. Please fill in the number of guests when you are making a booking. Guest access The instructions regarding the key to unlock the place are on the Guests Resources page on this website, and are only visible once you book. The House Manual with many more details and instructions is also in this section. WiFi is the NBN and fast. We have a lemon tree and a lime tree, you're welcome to pick fresh from them if they're fruiting! The backyard is a shared space with everyone so you are free to use it. Parking is out the front on the street. Other things to note *This is a NON SMOKING PROPERTY, EVEN IN THE OUTDOOR AREAS. *NO PARTIES permitted! *Please be careful with the white lounge. It stains easily, so your help with keeping it clean would be much appreciated. *Down in the backyard there is a separate granny flat which is permanently rented out to a gentleman called Troy. He is happy to assist if you have any questions or problems. He is also our caretaker. *The upstairs unit is also listed on Airbnb and there could be noises with guests walking around etc. I have instructions for them to keep noise to a minimum when guests are downstairs. *There is also a neighbourhood possum that occasionally runs around the back deck at night (as they are nocturnal animals). This may sound like people walking around upstairs, but if you can spot him, he will eat apples and other fruits out of your hands! *It is sprayed regularly for cockroaches, so don't panic if you see a few dead insects on the floor. The residual around the edges of the rooms from the spray that kills these insects, is not harmful to humans. *Quiet hours are from 10pm till 8am as is it a residential neighbourhood.
