Description
2026 Diary now open - Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, Nesbitts’ Nest sits on the edge of a picturesque lake & offers lakeside living at its best. With spacious indoor & outdoor living, the lodge is suspended over the water’s edge and is the perfect place to relax and unwind come rain or shine - soak up the views on the sunny deck, or snuggle up in front of the log burning fire. Our lodge accommodates up to 6 adults, with both a child & dog friendly set up. The space Keen to get out on the water? Then your visiting the perfect place! Spring Lake - during the warmer months the lake the lodge overlooks is a very active lake, with a boat running on it most of the day, providing you with plenty of entertainment watching those trying waterskiing / wake boarding / wake surfing but also giving you the opportunity to try to! They also offer paddleboarding sessions! A great way to enjoy our beautiful spring lake ambience available sessions are "Fresh Start" morning or "Sunset" evening sessions both just beautiful times of the day to get out on the water! We advise you to pre book to save disappointment as all activities on the lake are popular. Fancy a more relaxing experience out on the water then why not rent or bring your own boat, board, kayak and float across one of the surrounding lakes which offer supervised water activities - the lake behind our lodge, a short walk is lake 12 - “The real outdoor experience” offers the closet opportunity to do both, and they have a lovely spectator spot offering the best cake & coffee! With shelter and warmth in the colder days. Or there’s the stunning sites at 4 Lakes, vast picturesque lakes just a short drive away from the lodge run buy the loveliest family. They offer the opportunity to do both water sports and paddle boarding etc. . . all in one place & for a warmer experience they also provide wetsuits and sweet treats & tea! Well worth a visit, we are always down there out on the water, might see you! Please note we do not advocate any self launch swimming / boating / paddle boarding / kayaking on Spring Lake as it is unsupervised lake, in peak season the boat runs on it most the day also - therefore unsafe swimming / boating lake, but great people watching with the water sports why not give it a try! Pre booking is essential to avoid disappointment. About our lodge A home from home, our warm and welcoming lodge offers spacious indoor and outdoor living. The lodge provides a secure deck area to keep your pet safe; a stair gate which must be kept closed at all times to keep them downstairs only please; and we request you bring your own dedicated dog towels and make use of the outside tap/hose to clean off after those great walks and never leave them in the lodge alone. In order to achieve this we ask any guests bringing dogs not to allow them on the furnishings in the lounge area, or upstairs please. We also ask that you avoid leaving your dog in the lodge alone unless using a dog cage and your are confident that your dog will remain quiet and settled.
