This mud brick house is set on 5 part grassed / part bush acres and has a wonderful character and warmth about it. Situated only 4 minutes out of Daylesford you will enjoy a very peaceful sleep and wake up to kangaroos and birdlife outside. Bedlinen and towels supplied. Mineral springs, Cidery , Chocolate mill, Mt Franklin, Glenlyon village are all within a few minutes of the villa with attractions such as Sunday market, mill market , convent gallery, hotels, restaurants and specialty shops. The space You will enjoy having two seperate living areas with television and DVD in both. The morning sun area is at rear of house where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee. The front of the house is a great place to sit in the afternoon , watching your children run around on the grassed areas or keeping an eye out for kangaroos munching the grass or echidnas and birdlife. There are childrens' games in drawer of coffee table plus outside games stored in laundry. Dishwasher in kitchen. Guest access The house has three seperate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 living area, laundry.Carport for 1 car at back door and another two spaces in the rear carport. There are tracks up into the bush and leading to a country lane for those wanting to walk or ride mountain bikes. The full round the block walk is about 4.5 km and you may see kangaroos and wallabies and even the occasional koala. There are some testing hills in the Kangaroo Drive section and you will need a degree of fitness to walk the whole distance, should take around 1.2 hrs, mountain bikers will enjoy the circuit. Irvings lane has a couple of muddy sections after rain and rough areas not suitable for non 4wd vehicles although council has recently carried out repairs and lane is a lot more usable.
