Walnut Run Farm - Private & Quiet - Sperryville

A beautiful old farm in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The 1880 farmhouse sits on a small stream that runs through the entire fifty-five acre property. The house is clean, minimally decorated, with pasture views out of every window. The farm is located 80 miles from Washington DC and just down the road from Sperryville, Shenandoah National Park, Old Rag Mountain, Luray Caverns, The Inn at Little Washington and other local attractions. The space A beautiful old farmhouse nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains on a small stream called Walnut Run. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable. The property is fifty-five acres of secluded rolling hills that are open for guests to explore. The farm is totally private and and retains a sanctuary like presence. The farm is perfectly sited along a little stream (Walnut Run) and sits in a bowl surrounded on one half by a large lawn down to the stream, trees and views off to the pastures in other directions. There are the original outbuildings, including a spring house, a smokehouse, corn crib and barn. Walnut Run Farm is a one-man operation. I am doing my best to hold on to this old farm. Each booking from my guests helps so much in preserving this truly beautiful property. I will leave the key for that door you just entered on the table in front of you. Other things to note Dogs are allowed. There is a $50 fee for each dog. Dogs must be perfectly house trained and are NOT allowed on the beds or furniture. Guests are responsible for any and all damages. Cats are allowed only if we discuss it beforehand and I am fully assured that there will not be an issue. Unfortunately, I have had problems every single time I have allowed cats. Don't get me wrong, I am an animal lover and like cats but I must protect the property. Please notify me in advance if you are bringing a pet. Thanks.
