Warm and Friendly On Swindon

We live in a quiet cul-de-sac in the small town of Amberley,servicing a busy rural and winery community, great place to stop before heading south or north. Our check in time during the week can be by arrangement depending on work commitments, please message me via Airbnb. This bedroom is in our home. At present we are not providing breakfast but can by arrangement with myself at an extra cost. Amberley does have several cafes open in the early morning who provide breakfast menus. The space The bedroom is beside your own bathroom and separate toilet. The bed is an antique brass bed with cotton sheets, woolrest underblanket and feather/down duvet. Also an electric blanket for those cold nights. An evening meal can be available Saturday and Sunday at an extra cost, please enquire. An additional note, we have a scented room diffuser in the guest room, please if you have any respiratory issues we can remove from your room prior to your arrival. Guest access Our guests are able to access the kitchen to prepare packed lunches, and living, dining and lounge areas., but no cooking in our kitchen.We have fridge space for any food you may wish to put in. You can also use the wash machine and dryer for a small charge. During your stay We are available for our guests to offer our knowledge of our local area and further afield. Our guests are welcome to spend time talking and sharing their travel experiences with us. Other things to note While staying with us our 3 adult sons may call in, they love meeting our guests and enjoy having a chat with them, our oldest son has a wine distribution business in Wellington and if home loves chatting about our wonderful New Zealand wines, and two younger sons work in the rural industry managing farms, sheep and beef farming. We live a 1 minute drive from State Highway 1, only in a Nor West wind do we get car travelling noise, it’s not constant or loud.
