"Kennebec" homestead is all yours! We have lovingly restored (& added a bit of modern luxury) this 1902 homestead which was build by our great grandfather. Located 13km from Dunkeld, the southern gateway to the Grampians, and 20km from Hamilton. "Kennebec" now offers the homestead which sleeps 6, the "Family Studio Suite" which sleeps 4 & our beautiful studio space which is perfect for brides getting ready, large family gatherings or workshops/crafting weekends with your friends. The space Our sheep & cropping farm surrounds the homestead. Enjoy the charm of polished floor boards, spacious rooms, curl up in front of the wood fire or relax in the spa. With complete peace & quiet & stunning mountain views, you'll never want to leave! "Kennebec" Homestead has: - 3 bedrooms, 2 rooms with queen, 1 x 2 singles - 1 ensuite to 2 rooms & spa in master bathroom - brand new spacious full kitchen with stone benches featuring oven, stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster - wood fire & heaters in your bedrooms - full laundry with washing machine & iron Family Studio Suite is separate from the main homestead [perfect for 2nd family] & has: - 1 x double + bunk bed [2 x singles] Plus: - BBQ in a gazebo - undercover parking at the back door - all linen supplied - light continental breakfast, tea & coffee included - TV When booking for two people we assume that you are a couple and will be sharing a bed. If you are not, please let us know so we can make up 2 beds. There is no extra charge for babies but you'll need to provide your own linen for the porta cot. Anyone old enough to use beds will be charged as a person staying. "Kennebec" has a minimum 2 night stay, but 1 night may be available during the week, just send a message. We have a barbecue gazebo in the front garden of the homestead with a 'pot belly' fire which you are free to use [except total fire ban days]. "Kennebec" is located at the heart of a working farm so we ask for both your safety and ours that you remain in the fenced homestead yard. You will find plenty of space and lots of photo opportunities. Other things to note As we have working dogs and stock on the property we ask that you leave your furry friends at home.
