Exclusive use of property Pets Amazing adventure The space A hidden gem in the very heart of Windermere village, Lakes Hostel started life as a coaching stable then a bakery and finally a hostel in the 1970s. We have 5 beautiful appointed, cosy bedrooms, the emphasis on super comfy beds, top grade bed linen and duvets, (pillows are amazing), privacy curtain, reading light & USB charging points per bed. Some of our rooms have double beds and all have access to bathrooms with toilets and rain showers, and funky separate toilet facilities for those that cant wait. Additional dress rail available upon request. You can book the whole Hostel for exclusive use.  Sleeps from 10 to 19 people.  16 singles and plus 3 if sharing double beds. Perfect for families, friends, reunions, corporate events, wedding parties, activity groups.  All our beds are freshly made ready for your stay. Bath towels included. Extra towels are available upon request. Security lockers available for your mobile, tablets, laptops etc. Don’t worry if you forget your toothbrush either as we have all the essentials on hand to purchase should you need them. We are a self-catering venue and guests are welcome to use the well-equipped modern kitchen, relax and make friends in our quirky lounge and kick off their muddy boots at the front door and dry any soggy jackets in our drying area. We ask that no muddy boots are worn. We have a super clean status for all our guests. Please note well-behaved dogs are welcome, but you will need to contact the host to arrange payment for the additional charge of £25 per dog per stay. Guest access Everything is right on the door step. All beautiful Windermere Village has to offer within 2 mins walk. No need for taxis. Bus, Train and taxi station within 1 min walk. Open top bus tours available from bus station. Bike hire at the train station. Supermarkets all in very short walking distance. Shops, Takeaways, restaurants, pubs & cafes 1 min walk. Parking available right on the High Street (subject of course to available spaces), or public parking nearby. Drop off facility in the Hostel courtyard only. Other things to note As hosts we are committed to Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on Airbnb’s cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts. Super clean property. We offer a daily check service if you wish. We are committed to making things right. We can pop in to empty the waste bins and clean the bathrooms daily, or if you let us know, prior to check in, we can just leave you to look after the property yourselves. Contactless check in available, or we try to welcome you in person to show you round. Extra bath towels are available at an additional charge. Iron & ironing board provided. Cot and high chair available upon request. Extensive local knowledge provided if asked.
