Vintage styled room in the heart of German Colony

Our building is perfectly located In Ben Gurion Ave, the midst of the Haifa historical German colony studded with cafes and restaurants, we are just down the street from the Bhai Gardens, in view of the Port, and the Haifa downtown with bars and other hang outs is just around the corner. The studio room is designed to bring out the old feel of the house, Yet the facilities are all new to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. The space In the renovation process i restored the original windows , so there is plenty of light but they are not very sound proof when It comes to noise from the street. sections of old layers of paint are exposed and vintage furniture collected to let you open a door to the past. When it came to the design we recycled wooden doorframes from the building and old shipping crates to keep inline with the conceptual design. NOTE : The windows are facing the main avenue and being 150 years old are not sound proof, which especially on weekend evenings can allow much street noise into the room. Ear plugs are supplied. Guest access Walking by foot can get you to main attractions and districts, first of all the German colony is just outside the front door, at the top of the street is the lower entrance to the Bahai Gardens, and left of it is the authentic and aromatic Wadi Nisnas. The down town is just along Jaffa street which starts infront of the house. parallel to it is the port district with more restaurant and bars. If you wish to go further you have the Metronit 24/7 bus passing in our avenue and buses leaving to Nazareth and other places just up the street. The train station is less than 10 minutes walk away. So yah, perfect location. Regarding parking - most street parking around the house is free (unmarked), we have a few parking slots just between us and number 8 which we share with the neighbors, first comes first gets. but during day time you might get blocked and have to ask the people around (in the cafe, kiosk or hair dresses) to move their cars to let you out. Always good to consult with us about parking. Even thought the location is very center and the building is historic this is not luxury high end accommodation. It is modest but very distinct in its design and style. If you are used to having a jacuzzi, minibar with drinks and cable TV this might not be what you are looking for, if you want something different, you are most welcome to book with us. Other things to note Important-Potential noise hazard from the street, as the room is just abit above street level and there are big old windows if there is noise in the street it can bother you, and there is nothing I can do about it. Hot water is solar + electric heated. please use it with moderation. The kitchen has a small fridge, microwave, water bar with cold filtered water and hot water (you need to press the button to get it to heat the water). You will find a couple of different types of coffee and teas. There is the option for us to add hotplate, pots&pans for cooking etc. please tell us of your intentions before hand so we equip the kitchen accordingly 65" Smart TV with youtube, internet browser and Netflix (sign in with your account)
