L'Aod, island guesthouse

Located in the village of Poulbrac, the Aod is a 5-minute walk from the Bourg de Lampaul, the nerve centre of Ouessantine life. Built on 3 levels, I wanted this house respectful of the traditional local architecture and the nature that surrounds it. Combining wood, plating outside with lime, good insulation, noble materials, it is oriented towards respect for the environment. Colette's room is on the first floor, painted in shades of blue, ideal for dreaming. The space The advantages of the house: Its location: °Within a radius of five to ten minutes on foot, you can find grocery stores, bakery, bars and restaurants as well as all the leisure services of the island (sailing club, diving club, kayak rental, bike rentals, guided tours) °Within a radius of ten minutes by bike, you will find the Niou Museum in the west (eco-museum of Ushantine traditions) and Creac'h (Lighthouses and Balises) and to the east, the Stiff lighthouse and the two exhibitions of the Conservatoire du littoral °Within a ten minute drive, you can drive to Pointe de Porz Doun or Arland Beach. For the less in a hurry, Ushant is a delight for strollers with their nose in the wind and trained athletes, from the most amateur walker to the most seasoned walker. Only the roller skate remains strongly discouraged (risk of yellowing with the sheep).
