Almost 50 m2 of undivided access to the sun and sea, it also has a shade for hot summer months if you are one of those freckle shy people. There's a raised stone bench with cushions on one side of the terrace, sun loungers and a couple of deck chairs which is great to relax and chill, eat and drink, get a lovely tan, read or write or basicly bask in daydreaming? After all, this is what vacations are for, right? By the way, there's also an extra WC accessible from the terrace that makes things a bit more easier for our beer- loving guests. The wooden table is big enough for 6-8 people and there's a barbecue, just what you need to grill all the fresh fish you can buy from the local fishermen or enjoy the grass-fed, thick and juicy Montenegrin steaks famous for their traditional taste. If you are more on the non-meat side of the culinary scale, no worries, you can still make the best of the grill. Locally grown and sold by individual growers, freshest veggies from the outside day market from Kotor Old town are yours to grab on your way back home after a great day at Kotor and grill them for a tasty dinner. Guest access Our guests have full access to the entire house, barbecue facilities and a large terrace along with our backyard; home to various fruit trees such as; kiwi, cherry, lemon, quince, pomegranates and grape vines that you're welcome to pick for a taste. The Lemon Tree Cottage is on the coast road of Lepetane , the scenic main driving route from Tivat to Kotor. Only a couple of hundred meters after the Ferry Port, you can see the Lemon Tree cottage on your right. The entrance is accessed by a narrow stone stepped path leading up from the road. The first dark green metal door on your left with big stone planters at the front will lead you into the enclosed terrace and then you'll see the main door of the cottage on your right. Other things to note The ferry. Lepetane is the ferry port for crossing the Verige Straits, the ferry service runs throughout the day up until midnight on a regular basis then less frequently through the night. They usually have some sort of music on the ferries. Here is a comment from a previous guest about the ferry: "Before we booked here we were made aware of the fact that the cottage overlooks the ferry port and to expect a bit of noise. You can hear the ferries, but I have to say it was absolutely not a problem for us and I would actually say that it was something to watch while we sat on the sun terrace". There are so many places to visit and details and information brochures can be found in the house. We will also send prospective guests a house book which points out some great restaurants, beaches and other places to visit. Please remember that this is a 250 yrs old cottage in a rural area and you can come across creatures of nature (ants, spiders, bugs etc.) in and around the house, as rare and random as that may happen.
